My name is Martina, and I'm an artist from Sweden. I have been passionate about art since I was a child. After many years of pausing due to work- and family life, I started be creative again. I have a degree in Art teaching which is the most energizing way of teaching.

I prefer working with acrylic colors and I paint mostly abstract motivs. I get my inspiration from daily life but even from ancient artist like Friedrich Hundertwasser, Gustav Klimt, Franz Marc and Sonia Delaunay.

I use high-quality acrylic paints from the brands Amsterdam, Winsor & Newton and Sennelier.  All paintings are varnished to increase the color's protection against UV rays. My canvases are purchased from, among others, Panduro Hobby, Art of Veda and Winsor & Newton. Then I use different mediums such as crackling medium, gold leaf/silver leaf, gesso, sand, modeling paste, collage etc.​​
